In his campaign, Adil Baguirov promised to bring better technology to the Dayton Public Schools, in the form of better computers for students, special software designed to improve academic support for students and a mobile app so that parents have more information and control over their experience. Adil also promised to provide students with a better cultural and academic curriculum, to make the schools more responsive and responsible. He also promised to being more transparency and accountability with school district financial issues.

He owns a very prominent logistics and transportation company in north Dayton and he is also a very prominent commercial real estate investor in the community.
